Puzzicle - A New Style of Classroom Learning
Puzzicle is an educational app from Khan Academy. It was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the reality of children being homebound.
Puzzicle was created with the goal of bringing education to a whole new level. We want to help students and teachers across the globe have a more engaging experience when they are in class and at home.
To do this, we created a new style of classroom learning. It’s based on the idea that kids have different learning styles. So we created this concept of different learning styles.

How does a student learn?
Khan Academy’s videos are great at helping kids understand topics. But it’s not the only thing that they need.
Kids need to have meaningful interactions with a teacher. They need to see the teacher in the video, not just see the screen. Kids need to be able to take notes, add images, and change the speed of the video.
Puzzicle makes it easy for teachers to create videos that kids can watch anywhere, anytime.
It’s not just videos, but it’s the teacher.
As teachers, we want to be able to have the best experiences when we are in the classroom and we want to be able to teach kids at home.
